Hello from Ms. Hart!  I love being the librarian for the Dumas Junior High School. If you have trouble picking out a book, ask me for a recommendation--I have plenty of them!  And don't be frightened if I ask you lots of questions--how can I recommend a book if I don't know YOU?

My motto is "Every single book is not appropriate for every single person, but there IS a book out there that I guarantee you'll love--we just have to find it.

I hope that no one ever says to you while you are in the DJHS library, "shhh be quiet, this is a library".  I like to think of it as more of a classroom with lots of books.  So the same rules and expectations apply here as in the rest of the school.  I believe that the library should be a place to connect with books and people.  The best way to connect to a book is by TALKING about the book.  Plus, if I get know you, I'll know what to recommend to you.
