Just ask one of our students, and you’ll hear that Green Acres really IS the place to be.  Our school is the place where almost 525 boys and girls come to prepare for the future. . .theirs and ours.  Our faculty and staff consists of 62 dedicated people with the common goal of helping our students be successful.  Whether in the classroom, the library, the gym, the music room, the computer lab, and even in the cafeteria and on the playground we are committed to the education and well-being of our students.

Green Acres Elementary is a Pre K through 4th Grade campus which serves approximately 525 students. The student population is 78% Hispanic, 14% Anglo, 2% African American, 3% Asian and 1% Other. Our economically disadvantaged percentage is 82%, and 36% are limited English proficient.
